Crosslake days was a lot of fun this year. The community showed up and the lines were LONG for the chili. I took Hazel this year for the first time and we had a blast. Got some yummy freeze dried candies, tried the Shoppe 218's chili it was my favorite but only because I don't do lines and large crowds so its the only one I was able to get to without a claustrophobic meltdown LOL. We found the BEST French fries oh my goodness the seasoning was perfect. One of our favorite parts was the Rusty Crawfish Brass Band. I am a sucker for big band music and I think they should be in the pavilion next year the energy and joy the brought was unmatched. A big thank you to the organizers and volunteers of the event it was excellent.
